Metro Areas See Rise in Vacancies

June 11th, 2009

As the economy dips, the number of vacant properties rise due to more people losing jobs and in many metro centers, this seems to be the case. Most people who could still afford to rent in these areas are benefiting form the low rent rates but the number of vacancies is indeed rattling property owners who are having to settle for unusual terms for their many rental properties. From offering them on a daily basis for transients, bed spacing or lowering the rent all together, they are having to settle with less profits rather than see them left empty, all the while degrading without any occupants.
